EU Threatens US with WTO action on Gambling Issue

The United States has lost a case brought before the World Trade Organization by Antigua on the topic of gambling, and it may be forced to face a similar fate if the European Union feels it is required to curb US behavior on the matter. The US government, which recently arrested the founders of online financial firm Neteller when they were on US soil, charging them with money laundering, has been accused by the UE's internal market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy of protectionism in the way it is dealing with online gambling issues.
