Bold Casino Criminals Arrested in Bangkok

The casino raided on Tuesday was not very far from the police who arrived to do the raiding, being located in a building right across the street from the Crime Suppression Division of the Royal Thai Police. The 16 persons arrested were citizens of Thailand as well as international staff from Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Gambling is illegal in Thailand, and the police, who were acting on a tip, hit the jackpot as they interrupted an online baccarat game being filmed for web camera gambling. The casino manager was a Hong Kong passport holder.
