Macau Gambling Mecca Continues Expansion Plans
20, November 2006
Wynn Resorts Ltd, a long time player in the world of global casinos, has recently announced plans to build a second hotel resort in the Chinese enclave of Macau, right next to its new casino. Wynn's first casino in Macau kicked off its construction phase in September, a project that will eventually cost Wynn $1.2 billion. The Las Vegas-based Wynn seeks to establish a masterful foothold in the former Portuguese colony. The second resort and hotel will include entertainment, retail and food and beverage elements, as well as a casino.
