18 Years of Justice for Casino Robber

Two men were recently sentenced for crimes they committed two years ago involving robbery at gunpoint in three different casinos. Two years ago 23 year old Yuri Chachanko (chu-CHANK-oh) and a partner began a crime spree by stealing a gun from a casino security guard in Rapid City, South Dakota, where the man is from. After the theft of the firearm the two criminals robbed Winners Circle Bar and Casino in Billings at gunpoint. The next night the two men robbed New Atlas Bar in Columbus. In March Yuri's partner was sentenced, and recently a federal judge in Billings sentenced Yuri to 18 years in prison. $3500 in restitution is also part of the penalty for the man.
